This week, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 1110 "On Amendments to the Procedure for the Use of Funds Provided in the State Budget for Providing State Support to Agricultural Producers Using Reclaimed Land and Water User Organisations".

According to the Resolution, budgetary subsidies will be provided to producers for the reconstruction of existing and/or construction of new reclamation systems using sprinkler irrigation, as well as to water user organisations for the restoration of pumping stations.

This compensation is subject to the purchase of domestically produced equipment.

Budgetary subsidies will be provided to producers for the reconstruction of existing and/or construction of new systems, for the commissioning of reclamation systems, including sprinkler irrigation (pipelines, hydraulic structures, etc.); and for the purchase of machinery and equipment (irrigation equipment, pumping equipment and spare parts) of domestic production.

Funds will be provided to producers on a non-refundable basis in the amount of up to 25% of the cost of expenses (excluding value added tax) incurred in accordance with the project documentation, but not more than

- UAH 13,250 per 1 ha of cultivated land for sprinkler irrigation, excluding the cost of irrigation machinery and equipment;

- UAH 25,300 per 1 ha of cultivated land for sprinkler irrigation, including the cost of irrigation machinery and pumping equipment.
